Light a Candle
Christina Marie Jackson Hines was born on February 4th, 1984 to the late Barbara Ann Galloway Jackson and Malcolm (Michael) Jackson, Sr. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 10, and she became a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She studied at Southwest Tennessee Community College, before becoming a devoted mother to her children that she adored. She loved spending time with her family and friends and watching the children smile. On Monday, June 29th, 2020, Christina departed life on this side and started a new journey with her Lord and Savior. Christina leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Jayla, Jamya and Jarvis, Jr. (Ahad) Hines from her union to Jarvis Hines, Sr. In addition, she leaves one brother, Malcolm Jackson, Jr., two nephews, Malcolm Jackson III and Bishop Jackson, along with one adopted niece, Brooklyn Pitre. In addition, she leaves her aunts and uncles that that helped nurture her, Mabel (Earl, Sr.) Shelton, Eddie (Rhonda) Galloway, Sharon Galloway and Anthony Williams, and the precious memory of her late mother and father, Barbara Ann and Malcolm Jackson, Sr. her late grandparents, Rosie and Eddie Galloway, Mae Helen and Lenwood Jackson, special friends, Candiss Pitre and Rosemary Taylor, along with a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends through her Jackson, Hines, Galloway, Shelton, Shorter, Williams and Young families.
